CONSCIENCE

Recently upon prolonged examination of one, I have been galled by the self interest and crushing temporal desires of the self, pseudocide of care for that the wellbeing of others.

The will not to care for that occasioned to others, self searing of the soul that ever attempts to esteem others as it may wish to its own, elemental care.

For though oft seemingly extinct it is yet ever conscious, be it dormant or otherwise suppressed by infinite circumstances and selfish desires that make demands for the conscience state to be relatively dormant.

Conscience though it may remain so restrained and though it be dominated it never be conquered for it will appear in the times least sought for, most unpleasant and unexpected. Times when the mind wears week, seeks solitude, is seeking reprieve and cognitive reasoning lapse, times when one is but wishing for repose. Yet in these times the conscience will raises its then attributed ugly head, for unheeded it has led a life of its own developing into a monster awakening to haunt and hunt.

Yes I believe consciousness cannot be seared into oblivion but only dulled, and though repressed never be it conquered.

The torture of a bad conscience is the hell of a living soul.

While conscience is our friend, all is at peace; however once it is offended, farewell to a tranquil mind.
